We can apply a range of different render systems to your property, sand, cement and polymer additive renders which are then coated with durable, flexible wall coatings are the most popular choice. Polymer render systems contain fibres and mesh for strength, and can be top coated with coloured silicone or acrylic skimcoats. Unsure which is the best option for you? Please contact us, and we'll be glad to advise...
The Rendering systems we offer...
NHL Lime / hemp mix - Specialist renders, breathable and self healing.
Lime renders are most used these days for specialist restorations and some new builds. With the addition of hemp shiv (hemp plant fibre) the mix strength is increased and it also creates an insulation value. Lime render is highly breathable and has self healing qualities, making it ideal for substrates prone to thermal expansion/contraction and movement. We apply lime renders using air powered hopper fed spray equipment (pictured left). This increases application speed and creates a strong bond.

Sand, cement & co-polymer - Strong & durable, with admix and reinforcing mesh.
Using Ordinary portland cement, clean washed sharp sand and S.B.R co-polymer additive, a strong, durable and flexible render is achieved. Most suited to new build applications and properties with a cavity wall and D.P.C, this render is our best value option compared with our other high performance render systems. By embedding fiberglass mesh into the basecoat render, we virtually eliminate surface cracks. Once coated with one of our longlife coatings, we can provide a 10 year guarantee on all our sand and cement render installations.
Pebbledashing - White cement render with coloured pebble aggregate.
With the action of throwing coloured pebbles into a wet cement coat, pebbledash render is produced. This technique has been around for many years and recent advances have made pebbledashing easier and faster to do. With our air powered spray equipment, we can spray the receiving coat on (butter coat) and then with the same spraying tool, apply the pebbles to an even, dry dash finish. The surface is inherently durable with the pebbles acting as the protection. A wide variety of 40 different pebble colours and 45 base colours are available. We also can then further coat the finished dash with a clear coat water repellent which does not change the appearance, but will prevent any water penetration and keep the render looking cleaner for longer.
Monocouche one coat render - Scratched finish, through coloured.
Single layer or "Monocouche" render is a time and labour saving alternative to traditional render techniques.
The application involves the base and top layer being sprayed on in the same day, or one coat being applied as thick as 20 mm. Usually the next day, once the material has slightly hardened a notched float roughens the surface and creates a weathered stone finish. Suited to new builds because of the reduced install time allowing other trades to get in and out. Up to 120 sq/m can be covered in a day, with the scratching being done the next day. Monocouche is available as a cement based material, or as an NHL base for use on sustainable projects.
Thin coat acrylic/silicone render - Anti crack thin coat render, reinforcing mesh - Texture finish top coat
Thin coat render applications are typically no more than 6-8 mm in thickness. The polymer cement basecoat is embedded with mesh, and finished flat and after drying, primed ready to receive the acrylic/silicone top coat. The topcoat is spray applied and creates a fine textured finish that is highly flexible and crack resistant. These are modern systems suited to modern properties. A 15 year guarantee is standard with all our acrylic/silicone systems, with a lifespan exceeding 30 years. We apply this system to our timber framed installations over Rendaboard. We also use it on our exterior insulation projects.
Fixed Insulation board and Polymer render -
Range of different systems, please contact for more details.
Insulation material board is fixed to the wall via adhesive and mechanical fixing, and rendered over with a thin coat system. Suitable for solid wall properties and timber frames. Exterior wall insulation is by far the most efficient way to insulate a property.
Fixed Render carrier board and polymer render - Suitable for timber frame and steel frame construction.
Mixed fiber render boards are suitable for polymer render application. The process involves fixing timber batten onto the receiving board, and/or then fixing the render board onto the stud. The application of polymer thin coat render weatherproofs and protects the whole surface and the underlying structure.
